Autumn Place began operating with the purchase of two retirement living properties in 1995. Theses properties were located in Columbus and Baxter Springs, Kansas and offered Residential Care and Senior Independent Living Apartments. The Residential Care in Joplin, Missouri was built and opened in April 1996. We constructed the Senior Independent Living Apartments in Joplin, MO and Memory Care Unit in Columbus, KS. We then set our sights on acquiring properties in Pea Ridge, Arkansas.
Our efforts and operating profits have been used for growth and continued improvement of our operations. As a primary force for the direction of the business, emphasis has been placed upon the importance of quality of life for our residents. Staff selection and in-service training are fundamental to maintain an excellent reputation in our rural locations. The labor force has been stable for our facilities and the quality of care and a loving nurturing attitude assures one level of service - THE FINEST!
What sets us apart from our competition? Well, it no secret that proper medication management, assistance with activities of daily living, and apartment maintenance/cleaning are common to nearly all retirement living properties. Excellent home cooked meals, well trained and certified staff with the proper attitude and our sincere emphasis on the quality of life of our residents are not normal for most owner /operators in this industry.
